Job description

  • Client is part of Global Technology Infrastructure department and is responsible to manage the global network and security infrastructure.
  • The team will do the operational, project and engineering in the multiple aspect such as routing, load balancing, monitoring and optimizing the network


  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with regional and global teams to provide ongoing support for the global network infrastructure
    • Support configuration changes/implementations on Router, switches, Firewalls, load balancers and proxies
    • Assist in developing solutions and implement changes in accordance to the change management policy
    • Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery, creating preventative measures to deploy in the enterprise
    • Respond to alerts by following documented procedures and resolve/escalate issues.
    • Create and maintain network documentation as it relates to network configuration, network diagrams and processes.
    • Ensures that all process and procedures have been implemented, understood and followed for their responsible shift
    • Review incident reports provided by vendors, as well as draft internal incident summary reports to senior management when called for.
    • Participate in on-call rotation, shift work and regular weekend work.


    • Five – six-year experience in IT infrastructure engineering/support role.
    • In-depth knowledge of supporting various firewall’s such as Checkpoint and Cisco ASA’s.
    • Working knowledge of Cisco routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
    • Working knowledge of technologies such as VXLAN, and Cloud deployments.
    • Strong understanding of traffic flow across complex network deployments; able to identify issues from a physical link through to application level.
    • Hands on experience in deploying vendor/client connectivity over VPN, point to point or MPLS links.
    • Excellent relationship building and communication skills, both written and oral
    • Flexible and able to shift rapidly with an ever-changing environment
    • Must possess ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and bring up issues effectively


    • Good academic background with a degree or equivalent qualification in Information technology, Business Studies, Computing or relevant subject.
    • Scripting and Programming skills: python, bash, ansible, etc.
    • Mandatory knowledge and experience with network infrastructures such as LAN and WAN network technologies, Cisco router and switches, Load balancers, Firewalls and proxies
    • Working knowledge of Unix / Linux
    • CCNP Cisco certification or higher is preferred
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years comparative industry experience
