Job description

The Manager of Revenue and Payables will oversee our online recruiting and staffing marketplace revenue and payable transaction processing, be responsible for smooth functioning of invoicing, collections and payables. Continually optimize client’s transaction processing, cash flow and internal controls


    • Manage client's revenue cycle and disbursement team.
    • Manage and maintain documentation on transaction processing flows and related internal controls.
    • Identify ways to improve processing internal controls, accuracy, efficiency and reliability.
    • Partner with sales and service delivery teams to create standard procedures and processes, including exception processing.  Manage marketplace vendor master files and transaction processing consistent with contractual requirements.
    • Maintain monthly discounts and allowances reserve analysis, rebate calculations and account reconciliations, as may be needed.
    • Resolve any collections and/or payment disputes, escalate as required. Resolve issues in collaboration with sales team and management.
    • Establish and track key marketplace transaction processing metrics. 
    • Maintain familiarity with relevant accounting standards.
    • Assist with other corporate projects, as needed.

     Required Skills

    • Proficient with MS Office and Google applications.  Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce and Tableau.
    • Ability to work cooperatively both within the function and cross-functionally.
    • Excellent analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, sales team and other operational teams.
    • Ability to quickly understand our marketplace agreements and the implications related to revenue and payables processing and any dispute resolution.
    • Self-motivated and resourceful team player with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and attention to detail.  Strong manager, motivator and developer of teams.
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all internal and external affairs.
    • High degree of ethics in all decisions and approaches.
    • High sense of diligence and ability to effectively multi-task several assignments with tight deadlines.
    • Experience with recruiting and staffing is a plus.

     Required Experience

    • Managerial position responsible for revenue and payable processing/accounting for 10 years +.
    • Working knowledge of computer software technology and the SaaS industry a plus.
    • BS/BA Business Management, preferably with major in accounting or finance.  MBA a plus.
